My life was a question with no answer near.<\/em><\/p>\n

July 23rd, and an oddly cool, overcast day. The mist blocked the vistas, but the mist could not\u00a0 block the close-up views of all are stout friends.<\/p>\n

On Ryuso, you will always <\/em>meet, be with, many stout friends. This never fails.<\/p>\n

And a\u00a0bit of rain brings out some of the more shy fellows.<\/p>\n

And it’s the season for the okatorano-o<\/em> to bloom. Yes, I’ll attempt a translation: “the tiger tail on\u00a0the hill.”<\/p>\n

The butterflies are crazy about the tiger tails. They settle on a flower–and don’t move. They really, really beg for you to attempt a photograph.<\/p>\n

Sometimes, they’ll even try to give you a good background.<\/p>\n

It’s also amazing that in the mist and light rain, someone came out and grilled us a pancake.<\/p>\n
